UHS Announces the Admission Schedule for MCAT Test 2012

Lahore, The University of Health Sciences Lahore has declared admission open for first year MBBS/BDS in all public and private medical and dental educational institutions of the province. The admission seeking students have to appear in an Entrance test which is a pre-requisite of PMDC. The entrance test will be conducted on September 23, 2012 at 9:00 in the morning.

The interested students can obtain the entrance test kit and submit the application forms duly completed in all respects in the centre from where entrance test kit was collected from 31^st August to 9^th September 2012. All concerned office will remain open on Sundays from 9:00 am to 3:00 pm.

The eligibility criteria for getting admission is, to pass Intermediate exams with pre-medical group by securing at least 60% marks. The students having A-level or American 12^th grade will have to provide Equivalence certificate of Inter-Board Committee of Chairmen. The students living in Punjab, Azad Jammu & Kashmir, Islamabad and Gilgit-Baltistan province are eligible to apply. In case of dual nationality, students who do not pass SAT II with minimum score of 550 marks in each science subject, will have to appear in Entrance test against seats reserved under PTAP and SFS quota.

The test syllabus and schedule along with timing and other necessary information are given in the website of the University for the guidance of the students.

The candidates will have to submit necessary documents along with their application forms and latest photographs according to the detail given in the website or prospectus. Self addressed envelope with tickets worth Rs.40/- should also attach with the form, domicile and attested copy of passport in case of foreign candidates will also be attached. Candidates can collect admittance card from September 11 to September 15, 2012 at their relevant centers.
