For the English language learners at the beginning and intermediate levels, the TOEIC (Test of English for international communication) L&R test is designed. The proficiency levels and helping test takers to track their progress in and also setting goals for improving their English language skills, all this is provided by the result of the test.
There are two main sections in the TOEIC L&R test, which are as follows:
- Listening Comprehension: listening to the recorded statements, questions, short conversations, and short talks in English.
- Reading: it includes single sentences as well as texts.
Three parts are included in the Listening comprehension, which are photographs, question-response and short conversations of short talks, whereas to the incomplete sentences and reading comprehension, the candidates have to answer based on what they read, in the Reading section of the test.
